Zamorano-Ruiz
Adventurous storyteller, photographer and filmmaker traveling by bike

"After crossing deserts, mountains, jungles, and glaciers, the desire to keep exploring grows with each pedal stroke. I tell myself again and again that I can do it alone, even though I am sometimes accompanied. At the age of 22, in the last town on the border with the Republic of the Congo, while searching for the last mountain gorillas, I met my first bikepacker—and with him, a dream was born. Two years later, I quit my job and began crossing the Andes. Then came Iran and the Caucasus. A two-year bikepacking journey that never ended. The Canary Islands, northern Spain, and the Balkans became part of my new way of life, as I tried to balance my work as a freelance filmmaker with my love for the outdoors.

Bikepacking has changed my life in the best way. I have not only taken thousands of photographs, forged great friendships around the world, created new documentaries, and started a charity project, but most importantly, I can say that I am living the life I’ve always wanted!"
