My story began with a dream — a dream that life could be more than the cycle of working hard, earning money, and spending it on things that are supposed to make me happy. Instead, I dreamed of discovering the world and myself from a completely different perspective. That dream became my reality, and my bicycle became my ship.

With just a few belongings, I set out on a journey that took me far beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Several years ago, I left Germany on my bicycle and cycled through countries such as Iran and Pakistan, reached Nepal, explored the moon-like landscapes of Central Asia’s Pamir Highway, and later crossed South America as well. Along the way, I discovered parts of myself I had never known before and realized how vibrant the canvas of life can be. I have become a little addicted to continuing to fill this canvas with new colors and stories. With every journey, however, it was not only my view of the world that changed, but also my understanding of what I am capable of. The long days in the saddle and the countless kilometers gave rise to a desire to continually push my own limits — both on expeditions and through athletic challenges.
