Over 20 years experience of bike travel in more than 90 countries. My two-wheeled solo adventures have taken me from Japan-UK and UK-South Africa, covering more than 140,000km. From the high mountain passes of Tibet, equatorial forest trails of Central Africa and deserts of the Arabian peninsula, the bicycle has always been my ticket to freedom and adventure. I find the simplicity of riding a bicycle and the rewards it can provide, connecting you with people and places in a way other forms of transport can’t, means I continue to seek new places to ride.
