Size.Matters

To ensure that you really feel comfortable on your Tout Terrain bike, it is important to choose the right frame size as well as the perfect equipment. The best way to test this is on a longer test ride. After purchasing your bike, have it individually adjusted to your body size and riding position by your specialist dealer.

FAQ Divide

Wie kann ich das Laufrad im Falle einer Panne ausbauen?

Für einen korrekten Ein- und Ausbau des Laufrades beachte bitte den Quick-Start-Guide.

Bei meinem E-Bike erscheint nach dem Einschalten die Anzeige "Test-Modus aktiv" oder "OEM-Modus".

Bitte kontaktiere Deinen Händler um die Einstellung zu korrigieren.

An meinem Fahrrad sind am Gepäckträger zusätzliche Ex-Rails verbaut. Leider passt der untere Haken meiner QL2.1-Tasche nicht zu der unteren Strebe.

Für die Verwendung der Ortlieb BackRoller 2.1 an den Ex-Rails ist eine kleine Anpassung des Hakens nötig: die Schiene, in der der Haken verstellt werden kann, erinnert auf den ersten Blick an einen "lachenden Mund". Die Schiene ist mit 2 Schrauben befestigt. Wenn Du diese Schrauben löst und die Schiene umdrehst ("weinender Mund"), dann passt der Haken perfekt zu den Ex-Rails.

In meinem Rad ist ein GPS-Tracker verbaut. Wie wird dessen Akku geladen?

Der Tracker in Deinem Rad hat einen eingebauten Akku. Dieser Akku wird immer dann geladen, wenn Dein Rad eingeschaltet ist. Den Ladezustand kannst Du über die App für den Tracker verfolgen. Wenn das Rad ausgeschaltet ist, dann reicht der Akku (falls vorher vollständig geladen) für einige Tage.

Ist für mein E-Bike ein Zweitakku oder ein Range-Extender erhältlich?

Ja! Bitte kontaktiere Deinen Tout Terrain-Händler. Dein Händler bestellt die benötigten Teile und schaltet Dein E-Bike für den neuen Akku frei.

Kann ich die Automatik-Funktion meiner Smart-Shift-Schaltung ausschalten?

Ja, ein langer Druck auf die linke Schalttaste genügt, um zwischen manuellem und Automatik-Modus ("Smart.Shift") zu wechseln. Dasselbe gilt für die Funktionen "Start.Select" für den Anfahr-Gang und "Pre.Select" für das automatische Schalten beim Rollen ohne Pedaleinsatz. Was muss ich bei der Montage eines Halters oder eines Lowriders an meiner Carbongabel beachten?

Um die Carbongabel nicht zu beschädigen, achte unbedingt darauf, dass Dein Halter/Lowrider die Gabel nur direkt an den Anschraubpunkten berührt. Manche Halter/Lowrider haben im Lieferumfang spezielle Inserts für die Montage an Carbongabeln. Gerne hilft Dir dabei auch Dein Tout Terrain-Händler

How do I contact the Tout Terrain service by telephone?

You can reach our service on working days from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on 0761 2055 1005. Outside of telephone hours, you can leave a message on our answering machine and we will call you back. Alternatively, you can also send an e-mail to service@tout-terrain.de at any time.

How long do I have a warranty on the frame and fork?

We grant a standard 3-year warranty on frame and fork defects. There is also an extended warranty of 5 years on steel frame and steel fork defects if the product is registered at www.tout-terrain.de. Registration must be completed no later than 6 weeks after purchase of the bike.

Who can I contact if I have problems or defects?

Your contact person is the retailer from whom you purchased our product. If necessary, they will get in touch with us to solve the problem.

How do I determine the right frame size?

With the SmartFit online sizing tool in our configurator, you can determine your suitable size with just a few clicks. You can also find the corresponding geometry tables with all the relevant information on the model websites. If you are still unsure, we recommend a test ride at a Tout Terrain dealer near you.
