Features
Aluminum frame
Made in Europe

The frames for our e-bikes with the Pinion E-Drive system have a frame-integrated battery, sliding dropouts with replaceable threaded nuts and a mount specially designed for the motor-gearbox unit. They come from European production and are made from tried and tested AL6061 aluminum. This is an alloy that is very frequently used in electronic products and household appliances, for example, as well as aerospace components. It is characterized by very good corrosion resistance and optimum mechanical properties. It is also very easy to machine and weld. Before the individual frame parts are welded together, the hydroforming process is also used in the manufacturing process. In this process, aluminum tubes are placed in hollow molds and a hot oil-water mixture is pressed in at high pressure. This shapes the tubes into forms that give our E-Bikes a modern aesthetic and an individual touch.

Pinion Motor-Gearbox-Unit
Powerful and low-wear

This shifting system offers you precise shifting with xx gears, even under high loads - ideal for demanding trails and long adventures. Thanks to the closed system, it is extremely robust and low-maintenance, perfect for off-road tours. The central weight distribution ensures optimum balance and a stable riding experience in every situation. At just 2,100 grams, it is also light and efficient.

Steering stop
Tout Terrain Ergo Stop E-Bike

The Tout Terrain Ergo-Stop e-bike is based on the original design and consists of two elements: a stop integrated into the frame and a stopper mounted on the fork tube. This stops the handlebars before cables are damaged or parts rub against each other. The latest version limits the steering angle to approx. 78°, which ensures compatibility with flat bars and racing handlebars.

FIT system integration
Low maintenance and smooth running

The modular e-bike system from FIT offers a comprehensive all-in-one solution for individual bike configurations. Thanks to the seamless integration of motor, battery, display and connectivity functions, FIT enables optimum coordination of all components. Manufacturers and end customers benefit from a high degree of flexibility, as the system can be adapted to different areas of use - from city and trekking bikes to sporty e-mountain bikes. The smart networking is particularly noteworthy: the FIT e-bike app offers functions such as navigation, range display and individual riding modes. Thanks to the open, modular approach, components can be expanded or replaced as required. This means that the system remains future-proof and adaptable to new technologies.

Choosing the fork
Carbon lightweight or trail performance?

The choice depends heavily on the intended use and personal preferences. Both options offer specific advantages and disadvantages.

A carbon fork is lighter, stiffer and low-maintenance, making it particularly suitable for asphalt and paved roads. However, it does not absorb shocks, which limits comfort on uneven surfaces. In addition, carbon can break brittlely under heavy impacts.

A suspension fork, on the other hand, offers significantly more comfort as it absorbs bumps and thus ensures a more pleasant ride. It also improves traction and control on rough terrain. However, it is heavier, which increases battery consumption, and requires regular maintenance. In addition, a small amount of pedal power can be lost due to the suspension.

Conclusion: If you mainly ride on smooth trails and want to save weight, a carbon fork is a good choice. For uneven terrain or more riding comfort, a suspension fork is the better choice.

Divide
4,418 KM ROUTE, 61,000 METERS ALTITUDE

The Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR for short) is one of the most impressive cycling routes in the world. It stretches over 4,418 kilometers from Banff, Canada, to Antelope Wells, New Mexico, USA. Cyclists experience the spectacular landscapes of the Rocky Mountains on this route, past glistening lakes, dense forests and vast prairies. The route largely follows the continental divide and offers challenging climbs and rapid descents. Cyclists must be prepared for changing weather conditions and remote sections, which requires good preparation, self-sufficiency and reliable equipment.
