You can report thefts directly via the Tout Terrain Bike Tracker app. You will be asked to enter some details about the incident. The IoT Venture team will track your stolen e-bike and work with the police to find it. Please do not try to search for the bike yourself. If it is not found, a claim for damages will automatically be submitted to Laka. If the bike is found, the IoT Venture team will return it to you. If the bike is damaged, you will receive a link that you can use to report the damage in the app. The Laka claims team will contact you directly by email after you have reported the damage.

You can report damage directly via the Tout Terrain Bike Tracker app. You can only report damage that is covered by your subscription. Please check what is included in your policy before reporting damage.

In case of theft and unsuccessful recovery, Tout Terrain will provide you with a comparable e-bike. If your e-bike has been damaged or a part (e.g., the battery) has been stolen, Laka will reimburse you or the dealer for the cost of the damage, repair, and replacement parts.

You can get a rental bike from your local (Tout Terrain) dealer or buy a public transport ticket and claim back up to €200 of the costs. Please inform the Laka claims team of all costs incurred as a result of the theft.

Laka supports claims in English, French, German, and Dutch. If you need assistance in another language, please contact Laka Support at support@laka.com. You will then receive an email with complete instructions and a link to file your claim.

Once you activate your connected Tout Terrain e-bike, you will receive six months of free GPS tracking, insurance, and replacement in the event of theft. Your insurance covers:

• Theft from your home and outside your home (including damage caused during attempted theft)
• Emergency costs up to €200 (e.g., for onward or return transport)
• Reimbursement of mobility costs (e.g., for public transport or bike rental) also up to €200

After purchasing a connected Tout Terrain e-bike from your Tout Terrain dealer, follow the steps above under “How to get covered in just a few minutes.” The insurance will be automatically added to your profile and activated free of charge for six months.

You are not obligated to activate the insurance coverage. However, the six-month free Laka insurance must be activated within 30 days of purchase. This offer is one-time only and cannot be used again after it expires. If you do not take advantage of the offer, you can contact Laka at any time for separate insurance.

No, the tracker and insurance are included together for six months and cannot be activated separately.

Before the free trial period ends, we will notify you that your insurance is about to expire. You will then have the option to extend Recovery, GPS, and insurance on a monthly basis at a low price. This offer is exclusively for Tout Terrain customers. If you accept it, you will remain insured.

If you want to cancel during the free six-month period, simply contact Laka via the app and let them know that you want to cancel. Your subscription will then be terminated free of charge.

If you leave your bike unattended, make sure you secure it to a fixed, immovable object. Your lock must meet one of the following standards:

• ABUS (security level 10 or higher)
• VdS-approved (A+ or B+), such as: AXA, Hiplock, Kryptonite, Linka (with chain), Master Lock, Texlock, Trelock, ART (category 2 or higher), FUB (2 wheels or higher), Sold Secure Silver (or Gold), Onguard U-lock, SRA-certified.

Insurance coverage is only possible if one of these certified locks is used.

Your residence is the address where your e-bike is regularly stored and to which only you have access. If you are traveling for up to 120 days, your temporary accommodation is considered your “residence.”
